Description
This presentation will review the role of cannabinoids in pain modulation and cannabis-opioid synergy. The use of opioids in chronic non-cancer pain including the risks associated with chronic opioid use will be discussed, along with the proposed steps for a cannabis adjunct initiation trial with opioid therapy.
