Biography
Dana Lambert is an entrepreneur with a passion for creating better medicines. Dr. Lambert holds a diverse background in healthcare management, pharmaceutical research, and capital growth funds based in North American public equities & derivatives. She received a PhD from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a focus on cannabinoid pharmacology, chronic pain pathophysiology and drug formulation. She is an inventor of several patent-pending biopharmaceutical technologies, including those held within the Andira IP portfolio. Dr. Lambert is the recipient of several research awards including the Ruth & Paul Bass Scholarship in Pharmacology and the Kam Li Ma Scholarship in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She has authored several peer reviewed scientific publications, including a primary chronic pain study (Lambert et al., J Neurosci Neuropharm 2018). From 2014 – 2019 she served as a UBC Instructor of pharmaceutical formulation and drug delivery systems in the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Undergraduate Pharmacy (B.Sc.Pharm) Programs in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She previously graduated with a B.Sc.(Pharm) from UBC, practiced clinically as a hospital pharmacist (RPh) and managed clinical research programs and quality & safety initiatives for Provincial Health Authorities in British Columbia, Canada. Dr. Lambert currently serves on the Board of Directors for healthcare and financial firms in Canada and the US.
